Making a Blog

For those of you out there trying to figure out how to get your voice out there, both Lindsay and I would encourage you to make yourself a blog. It's easy and fun, and your also able to get your opinions and thoughts out into the world.

Personally, we made this blog for a class at UMass Amherst. We started with a template that Blogspot provided. After playing around for a bit, we were able to add a photo that Lindsay took in Boston. We used this photo as a background for the blog.

Photos were the most difficult part. It was hard to navigate how to make a slide show, and learning how to get personal photos in the right places didn't come easy. But, with some hard work, we finally did it.

Once we got the tracker on our blog, we have been able to follow who is visiting our blog and where they are from. This provided information that we found useful, as we were able to use it to improve certain aspects of the blog.
